Shipping Delays

Shipping Delays

We want to keep you informed about a situation currently affecting global shipping and, in some cases, the delivery of custom lounge orders.

What's happening

Since late July, a series of typhoons has moved across China's eastern coastline, forcing repeated closures at major shipping ports including Shanghai and Ningbo. The most severe of these, Typhoon Dolphin, was the strongest storm to hit the region this year and left a significant backlog of vessels waiting to depart. As of late August, several tropical systems remain active across the region at the same time, and the coast is bracing for further weather.

How this affects your order

Our global shipping partners are currently advising delays of up to 21 days on affected orders. Because the situation is entirely weather-dependent and ports continue to open and close as new storms develop, some orders may be delayed beyond this window. We're monitoring the situation closely and will always give you the most accurate timeframe we have.

It is for these extraordinary global shipping scenarios that we ask customers to sign that custom lounge orders can be delayed 3-5 weeks due to global shipping delays.
